NOTD: Happy 4th of July!

Here is my 4th of July nail art I did this morning. (Please excuse the edges around my nails, I forgot to clean them up before taking the picture!) I got the idea for this from a picture I saw online of Wonder Woman inspired nails. I would post a link but I cannot find it again! :-/  If I do locate it, I will be sure to link it. Anyway, I thought it would be perfect for this holiday weekend.

To achieve this, I started with 2 coats of red nail polish. I let that dry and then put a piece of tape over the upper half of the nail at an angle. I painted yellow nail polish in a thin stripe over the tape edge so that I would have a straight line when I peeled the tape away. Then I filled in the other half of the nail with blue nail polish. I built up a couple layers of gold glittery nail polish over the yellow line because the glitter was so sparse in the gold glitter polish I have. Finally I used Bundle Monster plate BM14 with white nail polish to stamp the stars over the blue portion of the nail. I finished with a coat of Seche Vite top coat. (I love that stuff! It dries so fast!)

All of the colored nail polishes I used are from the Wet N Wild Inked limited edition nail polish display at the drugstore. The gold glitter polish I used is Sinful Colors.

Thanks for looking! Hope you have a good weekend. :)
