Swatched: Too Faced Ooh La Rouge in Creme Brulee

This is the Too Faced Ooh La Rouge blush in Creme Brulee. It is a duo sided powder blush with shimmer. On the Too Faced website, this retails for $17.10 (Click here) but I got it at Nordstrom Rack for $6.97. Again, a great find at over half off the retail price! Again, I love their packaging. The pink and yellows are fun and I love the designs on the boxes.

This duo sided blush is described as "Toasted Almond" on the Too Faced website. Their description says the deeper color is for contouring and the shimmery light color is for softness. When combined, it should provide "a perfectly natural flush." In Creme Brulee, the darker tone is a warm brown and the lighter is definitely shimmery. I think toasted almond perfectly describes it. Below, the blush is shown with flash on the left and without flash on the right.

In the swatches below, I swatched each side separately and together. From left to right, the deeper color blended, the deeper color swatched, both sides swatched together, the lighter side swatched and the lighter side blended on the far right. I really like the color and the texture of this blush is really nice. It has really good color payoff (at least on the dark half) so I find I have to use a light hand and blend well on my cheeks. I think this will be another great product for summer.

Overall, if this hadn't been such a good deal, I probably wouldn't have bought it. Not because I don't like the product, I just think it is a little too dark of a blush for me. I do really like it once I get it blended well, I just wish it went on a little lighter initially. This would probably work great on skin tones darker than mine, I have pretty light skin. I have reached for it several times recently though, so I am sure I will get my money's worth.

If you would like to buy this blush, it is available on the Too Faced website for $17.10. I did see this on Amazon, but it was more expensive than on Too Faced. I couldn't find it on either Ulta or Sephora's websites. You can always check your local Nordstrom Rack as well, see if you can get as good a deal as I did!
